Amazing show. The lack of applause proves they were simply way ahead of their time.
This is so good, somebody should break into archive's server room just to steal the flacs. VBR mp3 isn't enough!

It works, as does the other correctly or incorrectly labeled stuff from these dates in Vancouver; some of these tunes are doubled up from the other board, so take your pick of the best. Jerry's guitar is awfully low in the mix, but the rest of it sounds pretty good - things don't really start picking up until Cream Puff War, and Viola has them at their most primitive attempt at jamming, which doesn't turn out too bad, considering!

Good evening Captain Consciousness! **Single applause**... "Our fame has preceded us". More classic Dead humor.

Great show... Really made a push further than the night before. Great sound quality. Phil bomb! What can I say, Cream Puff War blew me away... What a set closer. This is the reason the Dead got popular. Not the "best" version of Viola Lee I've heard, but it had an unmistakable quality to it that made it amazing. I just love Phil's intro. Where's the Dick's Pick's for this show?.. Have to wait to see in Dave's Picks. BIODTL and GMLSG, definitely above average (which is saying a lot). Trips Festival... What a trip.

Thanks for the upgrade!! I am not terribly familiar with the existing one in circulation but I can say with full confidence that this one is SMOKIN, very clear especially considering that it was recorded 42 years ago. I am kinda partial to the previous night but this is a real treat. Thanks again for taking the time to polish this gem!! This is certainly worth taking for a spin.
